Disgusting. Plain disgusting game. I played Over and SMB, but this BW team is filled with stupid players and capped with a stupid coaching staff. Last game of the conference and you lose by 29 AND score just 62 points? hahahaha. Celiz, Nuyles, and other pieces of sh*t in this team are to blame. They have an opportunity to run the fastbreak where they will have uncontested layups, yet they choose to set plays where they will either get blocked or have a 24 sec violation. Even the UAAP champs can beat this team in a 7 game series.

Nah bud, they got a lot of steals, and they held the ball like the stupid pieces of sh*t that they are. It's hard to score on sets when there is a 6'10" monster in the middle so you need to capitalize on speed, which they have in Austria, Timberlake and Tiongson. The problem is the coaching staff relied too much on washed up garbage like Celis, Laure, Acuna and Artadi, or dumb players like Nuyles and Gamalinda. They didn't even give their young guys (players who can still develop) majority of the burn. Tiongson, Erram, Austria, and Cawaling didn't even receive more than 10 mins despite being productive.
I think BW was selling games this conference to have funds for next conference lol. I mean how many times did they cover despite having spreads near the 20s???

I'm expecting this to hover around probably around 4. Anything better than 5 is a must play for NLEX. The road warriors is a tough bunch and they are very gritty. What makes them scary is that they have Boyet Fernandez as head coach.
In this first game Alaska covered the 5.5-point spread by a hair (90-84). Alaska isn't on top shape when they played the Road Warriors coming off a not so convincing win against Global Port and losing to Barako before that. They went on to lose their remaining 2 games to RoS and GK after this one.
NLEX is off an up and down streak and was lucky to have both expansion teams barely able to win any games. In the game against Alaska, they were in control before allowing Alaska 35-26 in the 4th quarter behind Hontiveros' sweet shooting down the stretch.
I think we see a similar scenario here as their game in the elimination but I expect the Road Warriors to be a lot smarter and to take full advantage of a banged up Alaska roster.

Leaning Meralco +4.5
UNDER 168.5
Meralco and Purefoods are pretty much even in most categories but given the championship pedigree of the former, I say edge to them to push it to another game. What worries me is that Meralco is getting enough points to make it a cover and still get another game off the series. If there's any coach in the PBA that can seriously play chess in the court against Tim Cone, that's Norman Black (Chot Reyes if he's still coaching). Player-by-player, Meralco have enough to match the Hotshots. Not to mention they have defensive stopper in every position. This should be a grinding match in the making.
During the eliminations, Purefoods got away with a 77-74 win against the Bolts needing another fourth quarter stand behind Yousef Taha. Marc Pingris was barely a factor in the game which allowed Taha to take the reigns in the post and power them to victory.
The first half was a see-saw battle that traded leads until Meralco broke the game open in the 3rd, behind Gary David (who I say loves tormenting the Purefoods franchise). Remember when Gary David single handedly brought down BMEG with his sweet shooting down the stretch? Anyway, Purefoods then came in and did the usual en route to a close win.
IMO, Meralco and Purefoods grind this one out and hopefully we fans are treated to a down to the wire game. I see Meralco covering and the UNDER hitting.
