LEAN: Meralco Bolts +4.5 over Rain or Shine
I don't think I'm making any play for the first game. This one is a LEAN more than anything. Rain or Shine looked great in their outing against Alaska, not only are they playing good D but all their shots are falling as well. They are healthy and have the 3rd pick ready to play. Meralco looked great in their first game as well. They lucked out in the end but they're one complete team. They upgraded with Cortez and Gary David as their back court. Hodge had a great off season and got a healthy Dillinger ready. Coach Ryan Gregorio is one who preaches defense and always coaches a team who plays terrific perimeter defense. I see this game pretty much being a tie with the points being handy in the end. I say a close game in the range of an 83-87 type of finish.


San Mig Coffee -1.5 over Alaska Aces
This one's definitely a play. San Mig have this dominance over the Aces all season long. Alaska still lacks another post presence that allowed them to dominate last season's Commissioner's Cup. They barely upgraded from last year compared to the growth of SMC player's during their championship campaign. The low line is due to injuries on the San Mig Coffee side. PJ Simon is coming back from a bruised achilles but don't expect him to be the same PJ yet. Devance is out to a knee injury. Yap is regressing and will probably shoot less than 40% in FG. I see SMC pulling away again here posting double digit leads, giving it up and securing it in the final canto. Mixers for a 85-77 win.

I had a look at this league...how do you guys bet on this? I saw a guy taking the first of 2 FT's and their was only 1 guy standing at the side of the key while the others were walking to the key but were no where near it.....WTF.....

PBA trends for the past 4-5years (tho I dont have a solid research of it), I say 80% of the time:

Wednesday games (Faves go 2-0)
Friday games (Dogs go 2-0)
Saturday games (Faves go 1-0 or 1-1 if there are 2 games)
Sunday games (Dogs either go 2-0 or 1-1)

SO KEEP BOMBING THE DOGS IN THIS LEAGUE UNTIL YOU WIN. YOU'LL NEVER LOSE IN THIS LEAGUE! :)
