Orlando just came off a west coast trip which went 3-2 for them losing at utah and sacramento by a combined 15 pts.  Going to Utah and playing is tough and they only lost by 6.  Their first game back home was 2 days ago vs ATL as a 5 pt dog.  Atl got up quick early by about 14 or so but Orlando shot themselve back into and barely lost.

Steph has his step back, Klay Thompson is playing great as is Landry and Lee.  They should win the battle on the board and get more second chance points. I think this team is for real, and I'll continue to back them.

your perspective is valid.  i just see orlando as a poor man's golden state warriors.  they play the exact same game with the same types of players.  the warriors have better players, but jaque vaghn is popovich.  orlando lost the first game back off a long road trip.  second game at home.  the warriors will have to prove themselves every night.  the public is asking a lot from the little engine that could.

i love that analysis as well steveP.  I think its going to get to a point where they won't have to continue to prove to people they belong.  Best road record in the NBA, going into Barclays winning, Miami winning, if trends like this continue what is is there to prove. They don't need to prove to me everynight they belong with wins on the roads at these tough places. Very similar teams, both a lot of jump shots.

as i hoped, the warriors were FLAT.  a seven game east coast swing wears a team like the warriors down-- just as it did orlando last week.   let's keep after it.  warriors will have trouble with atlanta, though i'm studying right now and i'm not committing.  generally, if i win against a team i don't like to go against them the next night except san antonio's last two.  the road's getting tougher this time of year especially on b2bs.
