Now I see why I had that feeling that GS wouldn't be ready to play! I think it was a psychic feeling, because Bogut went down tonight and they were so rattled without him!! They definitely weren't ready for that! (Even if it was part of the script they aren't used to playing without their big guys)

As for the next game I wouldn't worry too much who the public is on. The game 7 will be obviously coming

If the line is -2 for the cavs that is a very good sign for us. Same line as last time when they LOST

That's how books do it, that's why they moved the line back to 6 today it was mind games and I knew that just made cavs even more of a solid bet.

Even if I am crazy and over thinking it, I don't care. It works for me using this type of mindset so I will continue to use it

when you win. you think you're a genius and know everything.

when you're wrong, you make up excuses.

i was wrong game 5 after being right the first 4 games. win some, lose some.

draymond will be mvp in a close out game in cleveland. 6/16/16 meant something to those cavs' fans. they been singing that date for awhile and it is probably not what they expected. the date warriors won on their home floor again. #SeeYouThursday

Not to mention the theory about how W fans will be chasing Warriors all the way until the end of this one. The  public mentality in game 6 will be "They shouldn't lose 2 in a row" and the mentality of game 7 will be "They definitely wont lose 3 in a row!"

So books are going to make SO much money when Cleveland wins this year. But for some reason people on here claiming books make more if GS wins?! Obviously those people who are saying that are shills, or they simply aren't using their brains as to how this is playing out and how the public thinks

Also the warrior futures from early on have to be huge, a  lot of people think GS is too good to lose 4 of 7....

For all the nonsense about what the league wants, favorable refs for whatever the team, scripts and suspensions, the bottom line is that you have spoken the truth.

In the end it's just a disease. You might beat gambling for a year or five or maybe even 10, but not over the course of a lifetime. Anyone that has stopped to do the math on it surely knows that the books are killing it making 1.10 when we, the gambler get paid .91. Honestly, it's worse than most slot machines. Yet the disease keeps us in the game....

You couldn't be more wrong. I've never been close to a losing season. I believe it's possible I guess to have one losing season, even if you're hitting 70% but for me since I do only parlays my big hits are out of this world and I get multiple hits in a row on my hot streaks

Each year average units in profit I estimate at around 300 units.

Tell me, how am I ever going to have a losing season hitting at this rate? I would need to lose 300 bets in a row just to break even and I don't think that's possible I could ever do that.

But yeah I guess you could have a year where you come 1 game off hitting your big tickets and not actually hit any. But as I said I hit multiple big parlays per year (I am talking 8 teams and up) so to me, its extremely extremely unlikely for me to ever come out behind in the long run

Call em sucker bets all you want, you don't know what you're talking about. Casinos are afraid of parlays, that's why they have huge limits in place to ensure that people like me won't break the house

Yes, that's right.
I think mgmprofits doesn't understand the implications of gambling addiction.

mgmprofits,

There is a guy who worked hard to make $100,000 from sports betting - guess what - he lost it all within 48 hours:

https://www.psychforums.com/gambling-addiction/topic182379.html

Do you think it's always possible to stay in control?

One bad day or just 24 hours of you doing something stupid with your gambling activity and you can all wipe out years and years of "hard work".

Gambling is not worth it.

Let me guess, you were on GS tonight?

I'm sorry for your loss brother....but I 100% disagree with your post. THe slot machines are one of the worst bets you can make at the casino. Sports betting is light years ahead of it.

It's still not a business for everyone though. From what I hear only 4 out of 100 people can profit long term. I guess I am one of the 4% I just know it's not something I would ever get addicted to. I used to get excited about it but now I treat it strictly as a business and nothing more.

mgm, good call bro.  Too bad I was a day late and dollar short betting Cavs in game 4, should of chased. Been having this on my mind, ya know what's even more a detriment to GSW is at some point they are gonna ware out toward the end of this series. Those last few grueling series plus getting that regular season record is taking its toll. You can tell these last few games and this what may play into the Cavs hands.

Gambling is not worth it.

I hear you, in fact it's normal for some gamblers to do that. It took me 6 years to learn MM, so I am in control now. It takes discipline time and practice to control those all in urges. What worked for me was the higher power caused me to lose 100% of my bets when I did that. I finally realized there was a higher force who could think, who was controlling my games into losing every time.

I knew this defied the odds, the odds would be 50/50, but for me it was 0/100....so I finally gave up. I finally gave in. That's the only way to beat it, is to not try and fight it.

You must also be one of the 4 out of 100 who can beat the house edge as well. But that combined with MM, you would never ever gamble away 100k in 48 hours. I am glad I learned my lessons on a smaller scale, so I wont ever have to worry about that happening

Those last few grueling series plus getting that regular season record is taking its toll. You can tell these last few games and this what may play into the Cavs hands.

Thanks man.

Well, they're already rattled. They did have a longer and much tougher series than Cleveland did last time around and even if they aren't worn down too much, the injury situation seems to be taking its toll on them

If I was a GS backer I wouldn't trust that Curry will stay healthy throughout the rest of these finals. I'd be afraid of him tweaking the ankle.

No, I did not have any bet on this game.
I don't care anymore about the bets, I'm just interested in watching the game itself.

You were lucky Bogut got injured in the 3rd quarter (if you believe they both played their best) or just had the right prediction (if you believe in NBA conspiracies).

It doesn't really matter, what the guys above said is right.

And you can be among the 4% for a while, the 4% can easily shift to be one of the 96% (assuming the 4-96% is an accurate statistic and I don't believe such statistics can be measured, especially due to the fact gambling is a 'silent' disease).

I'm sorry but I just don't buy it.
I also personally never hit the rock bottom, I've never found myself in a situation where I lose $300,000 within 48 hours, but I did find myself losing control for smaller amounts.

This system is designed to make you lose control, bookmakers know this, they did not build sportsbook for you to bet in the same way you bet on .... and once the NBA is gone what would you do? Wait for the next season? I don't believe you if you tell me that .... you would go elsewhere, bet on the MLB, NFL, WNBA and what's not - am I right?

The gambling mind wants you to be and stay in action all the times, you would look for the next bet right after the Finals - and he honest, if you strongly believe in Game 7 - why are you looking to take action on Game 6? Can you not stay away from it?

That's the gambling mind.
I believe the ones above who told you that more than I believe you being in control.

You don't have to believe it if you don't want to. Makes no difference to me. I know it's true

your question about game 6/7 makes no sense. You're asking if I am sure of game 7, would I then skip game 6. You asking meaning can I miss a bet that I'm sure of? Of course. I told you I'm not addicted. I do this for a LIVING....so I would be stupid to pass up a bet that comes around ONCE a year, and a bet that I am 100% sure of, and it pays +2000 (Remember I had it planned to ride winnings from game 5 to game 7....so backing out now would be stupid, that means I've only made less than 3 units when I can make a total of 20 units PROFIT for winning just 2 more games

And obviously I will bet that Cleveland isn't going to lose 2 straight at home in a must win situation

If the need ever arises for me to be a slave and work 9 to 5, so be it, or whatever I have to do. I don't see myself being that person  though

I also plan to play poker professionally again. Inbfact you can find me at the Rio this week if you wanted to

Peace

mgmprofits,

You can't deny the fact are being preoccupied with this thing for a very long time - if you find it enjoyable then by all means keep on doing it but I'm telling you from my perspective it's not worth it, the next bet is simply not worth it, even if it's hypothetically 'okay' for the short term - it's definitely bad for the long term, it is what it is.

Well it's better than 9 to 5 isn't it? I mean it just comes naturally to me. What I mean is that I am always working this job in my head, even when I'm, not working.

So this is what I am meant to do.

I still suffer with health issues as well so it's hard for me to work a normal job too.

Don't forget as well that I only do parlays.

I only usually post straight bets here but if you saw my tickets you'd know why it's worth it for me.

So after the NBA is over you're planning to play poker - okay, I'm now sure of it, but do you know all these poker players who made millions and lost it all later?

I'm sorry but you got the gambling bug in you, it's fine to have it if you don't wanna get rid of it, but don't be surprised if things can go wrong...

If you made enough money INVEST it in real estate, so you won't have to work 9 to 5, and if you haven't then INVEST in your own business ...

And if you're truly an NBA expert - then AVOID playing poker by all means, and wait 5-6 months for the next NBA season so you only make money from what you're 'good' at (although I don't think anyone can be always good at betting, there are always times when people fall down).

Look at Daily25.com - do you think I believe the owner of the site would be rich forever? definitely not from betting but maybe from selling picks (perhaps you should do it as well)....

However,

If you're thinking of taking it further by gambling on your future then honestly you're playing with fire, I'm telling you this from an unbiased view, and from having no incentives whatsoever to deter you from going to poker after the NBA - just don't jump over your luck too much, it's not worth it.

PS I'm not too sure Game 6 is Cleveland's ... I think they will win, yes, but I wouldn't bet on it, period.

Parlays are the worst ways to bet if you ask me, again, if it worked for you then great, but read my post above.
