Ever since the NFL playoffs, I haven't been the same...I lost all my NFL season profits and more to the Colts and Packers...in the Super Bowl when the Pats failed to win, I lost TRIPLE that amount plus all the NBA profits I made so far..I stopped posting my picks around that time and since then I've been chasing..parlays, teasers, straight bets, all gone down the toilet..The parlay you see above was a last minute desperation bet I made right before the early games today....it's a HUGE bet and that's usually my 5U max play (when I post my picks) so clearly I've lost my mind....
I squeaked out a win in the Bucks game and now I have 3 more legs to go..3 road games with moderate road chalk..my question is, what should I do now? There's obviously no 100% hedge I can do, but I could cover the angles that are most likely to happen (i.e. the most likely upsets)...
Out of the 3 games, I like Denver the most, followed by Detroit and then Sac...Miami's 1-22 in the L23 or something and they gotta win at some point but I don't think they'll do it against Denver..Denver is finally healthy and Melo has been on fire lately..Miami is without Shaq and they're TRYING to adapt to a run and gun game which should favour Denver since they already play that style..-4 isn't too much to ask for no? Atlanta's 15-10 home record scares me as they have beaten some quality opponents at home but Detroit comes in on a 8-game winning streak and they flat out own the Hawks...will there be a letdown? Last but not least how will Sac respond after losing a crucial Western battle with GS for the last playoff seed after leading the game at the half? Will Memphis continue to need time to adjust to the loss of Gasol?
It's been dog day lately and I think the books finally caught up to that and minimized the road chalk for tomorrow..then again it may be a "sucker" bet but who knows?
What do you guys think?
