Thanks everyone. I fell asleep during 1st qtr of Blazers game so glad to wake up to see both wins, I needed those. That Lakers bet comes around about 3-4 times a season when everything lines up as Cavs were 100% motivated to lose, maybe we'll get another one before end of year. Now hope to not piss it all away.
Cavs and Knicks are going to be doing a little dance together rest of regular season for positioning. Lakers are exactly where they need to be at 3 but will Hou remain at 6? This'll be a fun last 2 weeks!

Thanks for bringing thi up you make a great point. The way my mind works is that if that was indeed the case, then a #1 seed would never lose that position. Whens the last time a #1 seed lost their position during last 2 weeks of the season and were supplanted by the #2 seed? I recall 2 years ago it came down to last game where OKC won thus nabbed #1 seed as they owned tiebreaker over Nuggs.
I got a feeling OKC somehow may get knocked off #1 perch, don't know why I can just hear Ian or Noah Eagle announcing a G7 in San Antonio. OKC last 6 are brutal, they have 1 guaranteed win against Utah but all other 5 will depend on ref assignments. To me, Thunder looks more motivated to remain healthy than go all out as they realize it takes 16 more wins during playoffs to get the championship. Spurs have 7 games left and are 3 games back. This 3-game road trip starting tonight will determine if they catch OKC. All they have to do is tie and they win the tiebreaker, that sounds like a perfect ending to the season to me. As silly as it sounds, if I were OKC I'd create a situation where my team got some rest and all players were healthy and force Spurs to go all out last 7 games expending a ton of energy to catch me. That'd be a trick on bettors too.
