As you can prob tell from the name im a celts fan. I almost completely agree with Rangers on this one.
If KG comes back and is 100% (which is doubtfull) than I think the celts have the edge because Bron doesnt seem to play big road games to his full potential, which brings me to my next point...
The Lakers...
I still dont think Bron has what it takes to beat Kobe in a series let alone a single game. Im not taking anything against his ability but it seems like he just curls up in a ball and gets all uncomfortable against him.
Either way im routing for the Celtics (obv) but the chemistry that the Cavs showed Sunday is almost scary, and to think one man is going to change that (KG) almost sounds stupid while im saying it.....

Thanks for the insight Rangerz and Boston... I definitely believe KG's health will go a long way in determining the team representing the East. Boston...I must agree with your assessment of the difficult matchup with the lakers (Kobe individually). Should be an outstanding playoffs from the start...

Then please tell me why LeBron, aside from this season, has dominated the season series with something like 5 out of 6 wins while consistently outplaying Kobe throughout the whole game including the clutch.

Thanks for all of the insight... I tell you I am not too scared of the 1st round matchup with the pistons in terms of winning the overall series. Nonetheless, the pistons can play a rough series that could be felt in the following series'. I certainly see a tough, hard-nosed series with a multitude of techs, flagrant fouls, etc...

+108 on the Cavs to NOT win the east... i wish i had a matchbook account
Amen. Everyone's hyping up the Cavs acquisitions and talking about the Celts, and AGAIN overlooking the Magic, which is just fine for them "upsetting" the supposedly invincible Cavs again.

I don't know why alot of people are counting out orlando.
If carter plays anywhere near his ability they should beat cle in a series again. He will be playing in his hometown, knows hes on a contending team, and they can once again be dangerous.
Shaq will not be able to guard howard, then you have lewis, carter and a HEALTHY jameer nelson. This team will be trouble for the cavs.
I really think the Cavs need 1 more player to give them a chance. I don't think shaq is enough. They need someone who can score and create their own shot besides lebron from the wing.
Also, orlando will be able to abuse the cavs with the pick and roll, as there is no way shaq can keep up with dwight.
Lakers should once again be deadly and I think they come out of the west again.
Lastly, Boston will also be deadly, especially if they sign rasheed. This can be a scary scary team.
Can you imagine bostons lineup:
Garnett
Wallace
Pierce
Allen
Rondo
bench: perkins, big baby, eddie house, leon powe
