I would wait for live betting and see if I can a better number on the bucks.  Problem with this raptors team is you dont know which one shows up.  If Lowry can get his head out of his behind, they cover easy.

Love the writeups and insight as always Scal but tonight is the Raptors turning point in this series.  They always play good at home , after a few lackluster performances I see them coming out strong in front of that home crowd coming back with the series tied.  Derozan will have more support from his team and their 3s will fall at a higher rate.  I see Lowry playing more of a role in this one too.  Starting Powell and adding another guy who can drive / shoot has been a great adjustment to counter this lengthy defense of the Bucks.  The Raps opened game one and two as 9 and 7.5 faves.  Now we are getting -6 due to their struggles.  I feel like theres a bit of value in that.  Toronto is the better team, at home, and no one trusts them anymore.  Buy low sell high, and I think this is the perfect time to back them.

    Good luck tonight.

    Forget live betting imo.

Cap the game, grab the number and try to hit it.

Waiting for a live number on your phone and PC Is stressful and nothing is guaranteed. I'm guaranteeing you +6 right now. That's good enough for me.

    Es-P,

I don't know why this Raptors team gets so much respect.

His team has earned virtually nothing with this core + Ibaka.

2 playoff series wins. Pacers- Ok team. Went right to the gun in game 7 and didn't cover.

Beat the Heat in Game 7 who lost Whiteside, their rim protector and better than average offensive force.

This Bucks team reminds me of the Baron Davis Golden State team that knocked off Dallas.

When you watched that series you knew after 3 games that GS had the pieces to knock off a 65 win Dallas team.

The Bucks have MORE THAN SHOWN they can do the same here.

And what have the Raps done? Came right out and lost Game 1 just like the previous EIGHT TIMES before. This team is a rerun + Ibaka and the Bucks have the pieces.

Grab the six people. It's right in front of you!

Well I'm hoping for a Wizards win obviously but that game can definitely go either way. Not comfortable with that game.

Well I'm hoping for a Wizards win obviously but that game can definitely go either way. Not comfortable with that game.

Hope you're right. Lowry missed shootaround with back stiffness. Hope that helps our chances that he's not %100

Raps fan here - definitely not super confident about a Raps win tonight, but that's more because as a Toronto sports fan we always expect the worst.

I usually stay away from betting my home team as heart can always skew what's really going on..but I personally wouldn't be comfortable with bucks +6 either. This team has the playoff experience, and is probably the best raptors team in the history of the franchise.

Well we have a winner folks!

Straight from the horse's mouth. Fans aren't necessarily cappers but they certainly know their team if they can offer something with an unbiased eye which this poster did for the most part.

You've come to expect the worst in the playoffs Devine because that is what the Raptors have conditioned you to expect.

    Game 1 - loss - not dominant
    Game 2 - win - not dominant
    Game 3 - loss - not dominant
    Game 4 - win - not dominant

If you want to be comfortable with a 6 point spread you have to be somewhat dominant (10-12 pt lead most of the game).

Why would they suddenly be dominant if the previous 4 games they haven't been (and really not even close). And if you think you'll sneak over this number late, it's not a good bet. That's a crap shoot. I think the Bucks can win AND I'll take the 6. That's a good spot.

@Scal I apologize if you already touched on this in your thread, but are you confident in the Bucks to win the series (at +200).

Or you still are leaning Raptors to close out in 6-7.

    Thanks!

Scal.....the total for the Bucks currently sits around 93....I would imagine if they get this game that number should fly over would you agree?

So talk to me about the Greek. The 6 for 20 last game that nobody talks about it. We are instead reading threads about ibaka struggles which is mind boggling. Ibaka is their 3rd of 4th option where giannis is the bucks eveything. Bucks can't have that awful production from giannis going forward if they are to win let alone cover games. I have pointed this out a few times but take a look at this tonite. The Greek can't hit the outside shot consistently AND he can't drive left unless he spins back to his right. Watch this because it is glaring. Keep him out of the lane and he's not great. Raptors did that game three and it worked well.

As for the raps, with no consistent output from Val and ibaka, this series still being tied, no worries from bucks backers? You really think Val and ibaka don't show up going forward? What about tony snell? Will he give 20 every night? The fact that the bucks relied on this guy late was a joke at best. I'm a bulls guy and I saw his worth there; he's overshot the moon so far and I don't see it continuing. As for Middleton, he's good. Does he continue to play well? Not so sure. The raps can play defense especially at home and I expect this series from the raptors perspective to be more of a half court game of execution. Interested to see how the bucks handle this on the road without home court advantage. Going back to half court ball, Raps have the advantage there by far becuase we all know the bucks want to control the pace. Casey shouldn't and won't allow the bucks to run.

Lastly, the pick and roll for the raptors and getting favorable matchups for Lowry and DeRozan will be huge going forward. Not so sure bucks can stop it and if giannis gets pulled out of the lane, ibaka and Val will rule down low. 6 points is a lot in a series like this but this business where the books have to make that line becuase of the home/away situations....that is absurd. The books make lines based off of perception of the public too. Can't deny that. Can the bucks cover is 6? Sure for reasons I listed above, I can see the raptors playing their most complete game tonite as a team. We will see. Again, I could be wrong here and if so, good stuff Scal. As we have seen, anything goes in these playoffs.

I am on the Bucks plus 6...

Monday is dog day of the underdogs ... or it was one time I noticed.

Middleton down the middle for 2!
    Giannis launches from 3 pow...

Last year I had Toronto on a play and they led beginning to middle of the 4th and faded ... they were up large and ended up not covering and maybe lost the game...

Thanks for the info Scal and Achilles et al
