I hope the line wont be as bad as the 1 in the finals. . .
anything more than 4.0 eitherway is crazy. . .
unless the banks are making you go the other way that is.

if theres one team that can end bostons winning streak its the LAKERS!!! they let them win the championship lakers have enough rings they felt sorry for boston.

Was listening to ESPN radio and not only are the Celts going for 20 in a row, but Phil Jackson is going for win number 1000 as a head coach.  This game is going to be disgusting!

Come on man!  If you're a huge Lakers fan just say that you think the Lakers will beat the Celtics.  Don't make yourself sounds like an idiot.  This game is going to be one where everyone is super excited for and then everyone turns off their tvs in the 2nd quarter because the Celtics are up by 20 and it's not even worth watching anymore

Boston will arrive at the LA airport at 1:10 PM ... for a late afternoon game ... big factor !!!

hi, I'm new here. just want to say that there is almost always a four point premium for the homecourt advantage. so if lal is -1.5 and they play on a neutral court (which will never happen)..then the lakers would be plus 2.5. what do you guys think?

If the celtics are getting points (can't imagine this could be the case??) I will be more than happy to put my full bankroll on the celtics ML.  This is coming from a homer and also someone who watches sports and can clearly determine the better team.  Celtics win by 8.  They are possibly the best team ever to step onto the court, and they are playing the best ball I've ever seen.  lakers are up and down.

I think the line will open LAL -1.5, My first lean would be CELTS and the points.... BUT, Kobe has served notice that they want some payback for championship series..... It's hard not to take him seriously on that....  Either way, it should be a GREAT game... I am going to have some buds over to share it with...

That's obviously not true, but if it were, a snowstorm out of Boston might leave all of us subjected to reruns of "The Steve Harvey Show" until the Celtics finally make it to Staples Center.

I honestly see this as a pick 'em or maybe the Lakers as a slight, slight favourite (1 or 2 points). Lakers are unbeatable at home (14-1) while Celtics are unbeatable all together.

Why should the Lakers not be able to beat the Celtics at home?
I see here to much love for the Celtics. This game needs to be played first and then talk about the result. 90% or more on this board will put their money on the Celtics and i hear already on other Boards that the Celtics are the Lock of the Decade. I will just remind you, that this Lock of the Decade nearly went down against Atlanta. They were very lucky to escape with a win. And if Atlanta could nearly beat the Celtics, why should the Lakers not win?

the hawks forced a game 7 against the champs last season. enough said.

Vegas has the line right on the money, IMHO. Using Adjusted Home Court Rankings, I have the Lakers favored by 1.66 pts, which is obviously rounded off to 2. I like the refs vs. Boston theory. Lakers probably cover in the last minute on some BS calls.....
