Boston Massacre: Game 4

Reasons:

1) Miami got the split it wanted and they are banged up. They’ll try to win this game for a couple of quarters, but I doubt they will keep fighting if they go down dd. They will want to conserve themselves for a massive game 5. Spo is no idiot like Nash was last year when he tried to win game 6 in Milwaukee and in so doing cost his short-handed team game 7 by wearing them down.

2) The Celtics were emasculated on Saturday. Completely emasculated. Knowing their coach he will rip into them. They will be the aggressors Monday.

3) The history between these franchises, since the LBJ days, is long and ugly. And of course we have the Bubble playoffs. There is enough venom to ensure the Celtics will not take their foot off the gas pedal if they get the Heat down. They’ll keep coming. 

4) The NBA got what it wanted on Saturday, allowing the Heat to play football for 48 minutes to steal a game and insure a game 5 wit the teams tied 2-2 to get the largest audience possible. Their work is halfway done. Tomorrow they won’t let the Heat breath on the Celtics: you just watch. Tucker might have 3 fouls in the first quarter alone. That’s how this crooked league works.

 Thanks, bud. The Warrior and the Celtics are my favorite teams. The Celtics from when I was a kid watching reruns of old black and white games with Russel and Cousy and then in the 80s with Bird and gang. And then of course with Rondo and Garnet and Pierce. No way they were losing tonight. The Warriors I adopted when I moved to the Bay Area from the rum TMC days. But if they meet in the finals, I’ll be rooting for the Warriors.
