Watch out! Let me tell you why. This game is NOT about Stafford vs Darnold. That's what everyone has been focusing on. But historically, in the playoff, #1 offense vs #1 defense, defense has won 6-0. The lastest was SB 48 where Seattle blew out the greatest scoring offensive team in league history with a HOF QB in Peyton Manning. This is the 3rd time these 2 teams playing against each other. Let's take a look at both previous games. In the first game, Darnold threw 4 INT. Yet, Seattle defense pretty much SHUT down Rams in the 2nd half. That gave Seattle a chance at the end to win the game has Myers made that FG. So Rams escaped that game...even with 4 INTs. That shouldn't feel much confident to say the least. Now, let's take a look again at the game in week 16. Again, Rams off to a fast start and lead by 16 points at beginning of 4th quarter. And again Darnold threw 2 INT. Yet once again, Seattle defense SHUT down Rams offense. And I mean shut down! At one point during the 2nd half, the Rams went 3 & Out on 5 straight drives. Yes, 5 straight drives. And you all know what happened in OT. As powerful offensively as the Rams looked, both teams has scored pretty much the same 58/57 points in both games. And as for yardages, pretty much the same too with Rams having 29 more total yards. Just 29! All this with Seahawks having 7 INT to the Rams NONE. In summary, Seahawks defense has made adjustments in both games and shut down the Rams in both 2nd half. They know the formular now. All they have to do is run the ball with Kenneth Walker to kill the clock and not keep Stafford off the field. And when he does get on, just follow the blue prints from the 2nd half of previous games. One last important factor, fatique! Rams has played 2 physically games away on the road in eastern time zone. Now they travel again on the road to Seattle. While Seattle has a bye and play a short 3 quarters game against the 49ers. And it was a Saturday game too instead of Rams play late on Sunday. So that's an extra day rest for Seattle. It is not easy to play 3 games back-to-back in the NFL. The fatique will catch up with the Rams. I would be surprise if the Rams take an early lead again this time around. I predict Seattle to win 30-20 or 30-17. Vegas will sweep the board with all the Rams teaser bets too!
