I had a chance to look more at System 1 and 3 (see system 2 analysis above)
 
System 1
Summary: this one is weak so warning warning
ATS W-L-P and Season
2008 ---- 16-12-0
2007 ---- 45-43-2
2006 ---- 54-42-1
2005 ---- 50-53-1
2004 ---- 42-47-0
There is nothing here I am afraid folks IF you are just relying on the parameters as stated and doing no further analysis.
 
System 3
Summary: There is more to this one and it has some legs over the past 5 seasons
ATS W-L-P and Season
2008 ---- 12-10-0
2007 ---- 21-16-0
2006 ---- 20-15-1
2005 ---- 17-12-1
2004 ---- 21-18-0
I am getting no where near the success rates stated (on ANY of these systems).  I like the consistency with system 3.  Suggestion, if you are interested, look how system 3 pans out between conferences.  Western is by far the better choice the past 4 seasons coming in at 37-23 vs Eastern's record of 33-30 in the same period.
 
Again I underscore that I am not recommending any of the "systems" if anything perhaps the opposite.  We all make our own bets :-)
 
I will say, if you are thinking an LAL play tonight with system 3, I suggest you have a look at the NBA Pick and Roll article I posted to with an interesting GSW play in their situation tonight.

GSW shots 64% from the charity line at home but squeeks out an ATS win. 

I'd be interested in looking at other systems if you want to throw one over.  It'd be interesting to see what other ideas are floating around.

hot dang, dodgethis, your nick should be Yoga.  You applied 1Hit's system all the way back to 2004? Now that's anally deep! Thanks for the data mining, it certainly puts the "systems" in perspective, and might help for the rest of this season. You should post more often, if you bet regularly like the rest of us fools.

I couldn't sleep well and couldn't distract to withness both OKC and LA were lost the ATS last night
Consequently .. I keep silent for all of my systems and make excuse to everyone-who's follow me and lost
I know it's not a bit of good my apologizing but will try my best to get everyone's back to our winning night.
