I'm beginning to fall in love with the under on that nugget game. I love the fact that most people are on the over, but the total is not moving all that much. The Bulls are catching 5.5 points. That tells me this is going to be a grind em out, slow, horrible shooting game. I was expecting them to open this game at 199, maybe even 198.5, but they tipped their hand at 196.5. THEY ARE BEGGING for you take the over.....
This is the 2nd highest total for any Bulls game this season. The only one that was higher was the Christmas day game against Houston which was set at 197.5.
This is Denver's 7th lowest total of the season. All 4 of their games against Indy and Memphis have been under this number. Two early season games against New Orleans and Minnesota account for the other two.
The oddsmakers, imo, have duly accounted for the Denver offensive prowess and Chicago's D. The line is justified. There is no trickery or tipping of the hand going on here, imo. Can't really agree with your assessment that this will be a grinder and bad shooting game, especially with fouls being at a premium for a shorthanded Bulls squad. They simply can't afford players to foul out. Nate Robinson is an x-factor---he loves to push the pace and I would not be surprised if he gets sucked into Lawson's game on the 1st leg of a B2B.
