People who compare LeBron to Kobe and to a further depth of stupidity and ignorance, Michael Jordan, are clueless.

LeBron can be compared to Shaq, he is one dimensional.
He can drive, he can be amazing when he drives, but please a great all around player, compare to Kobe, hahaha....total ignorance.

in this series lebron has been horrid from outside like ive said before , but that  is a 3 game span in which he is making up for it by going strong to the rim!

Well, Kobe shot bout 2x as many, and the percentages are very close...nice try though.

There is no doubt, lebron ia better when he is aggresive and attacking the paint.

There is also no doubt in my mind that if these finals were to be reffed properly, OKC would take it in 5-6 games.

Durant is king of jump shots and Le Bron is king of the paint. If durant were too attack the rim with the aggresiveness of james and get the same calls that LeBron did, OKC would blow them out.

Last night, LBJ wanted it more.

Most ballers that wont be called for a charge and can get touched could do the same thing. Only a few players get that treatment.

Durant is a star. If he stops pussying out and attacks the basket, he is gonna get the call. He just cant be affraid to draw contact and finish strong! There were several instances where he attacked and was blocked clean. Had he drawn contact, they would have called foul

I knew this was comin people gona blow lbjs finals performance out of proportion and say its 1 of all time great performances this is just gettin comical at this point.

The LBJ haters are correct.....according to ESPN and sportsradio....the stats that LBJ is putting up is not extraordinary for centers...and power forwards.....but according to them....His average of 30 ppgs and 10 rebs has not been done since Havlichek in the 1960s....

To me, it is not what LBJ is averaging in the Finals that is special....to me, it is that he is team's leading scorer, rebounder...top facilitator and best defender.....and playing point guard....and at the end of the game guarding the other team;s best player (pg, Sg, sf, pf and sometimes center)

Safe to say...noone in the history of the game had to do all that crap......Riley really needs to finish putting this team together...the heat have so many holes on this squad......there in lies the greatness of LBJ.....even Coach spoelstra said it during regular season

"LBJ greatness does not lie in any one statistic....he has to be our MVP every night for us to win....sometimes thats faciltiating...sometimes thats rebounding...sometimes thats scoring...sometimes thats defending the other teams best player.....whatever we need...we look for him to feel that void

And to me, that is on Riley...he has to fix their holes next year

Clarification....no Sf, Sg has put up the numbers that LBJ is putting up.....thats what Elias Sports Bureau reports.....Centers and Power Forwards can and has done it....but not Bird....not Barkley....not Dr. J.....Not Worthy....not kobe..not jordan...not pippen.....

the 30 and 10 is an accomplishment for non centers and non power forwards

whoever said this is or will be the best finals performance is smokin crack, that bein said  all the nitpickers who say hes not doin this or that are just nitpickers, 30 and 10 are great numbers , he has to be doin somethin right, hes leading his team and not backing down from the challenge!

Watching me some NBA TV and I guess they blowing LBJ up too ...that's a little sarcasm

They said LBJ is lghting it up in this years playoffs

Said he has scored over 28 points in 13 consecutive playoff games and that is HISTORIC (folks thats what I keep saying in these threads....LBJ is not doing what the common leading guy is doing....his stuff tends to be...."different")

NBA TV reported the list looks like this

Elgin Baylor   had  17 consecutive games of 28 points from 1961-62

Wilt had 14 consecutive games of 28 points from 1961 - 62

LEBRON JAMES has had 13 consecutive games of 28 points DURING THIS SEASON PLAYOFFS

MJ had 12 consecutive games of 28 points during 1991-92

and

MJ had 11 consecutive games of 28 points during the 1998 season

So the fact that LBJ has had 13 consecuive games of 28 points scored in a game in THIS SEASON is already better than what MJ did in any one playoff season....and if he scores 28 points in Game 4 and Game 5 he will have surpassed Wilt Chamberlain....even the great Wilt had to go across seasons to have 14 games of 28 points in consecutive playoff games

LBJ gets it done....and this thread is "nik picking" on how he gets it done.

ct i love how u leave out stats to fit ur argument.. ur right jordan neva averaged 30 an 10 reb in finals.. but he averaged 42 8 7 in finals also 32 11 asst in finals so ur right that jordan neva avg 30 10reb but ur makin it sound like lbj has done somethin so special. it doesnt come close to jordan jordan 42 8 7 stat line in 3rd finals or 32 an 11asst in 1st finals.. and funny how u leave out kobe 08 finals performance 32.4 7.4 asst  6 reb 1st player since jerry west in 1969, but u just like to put the stats out to fit ur argument, like no other greats do anything historical. and i believe kobe had like 13 str8 30pt games in 09 playoffs

Hey Ct hows this stat mjs career finals pt average his higher than lbj career high in any finals game. so if ur gona use stats of what lbj did better than other players than list the stats that the other players did better than him cuz otherwise ur stats mean nothing

I believe..ESPN can get Elias Sports Bureau to spit out something "unusual" with everyone's performance

Not dissing former NBA Final MVP performances at all

But if the Heat gets this thing done and LBJ gets over 28 points in those games...I just saw that would be an HISTORIC achievement,,,see prior post....MJ is on there twice....but LBJ would climb the list

This thread was not-pickin that LBJ got to get in the paint...points is points....and if he is closing in on a NBA record for most consecutive playoff games with 28 points per game....well that deserves r.e.s.p.e.c.t  too.

meant to say thread is nit-picking...he can't hit  jumper or something like that....and he is on a scoring playoff list for consecutive games with 28 points scored with baylor, wilt, and mj
