And your saying hitting two three point shots with no time outs (meaning no advancing to half court) to send into OT is a much better chance?  That is why they had to foul?

So not only would they have to make their shot, but they would have to hope that Portland misses a FT after fouling one of their best FT shooters.  Sure, misses can happen.  But that is another luck factor that you are now adding to your argument.  This ain't college son 


Proof is in the pudding.  The way Dallas played it worked.  It gave them a shot with a good look to win the game.

Dallas fouls. 20+ seconds left. Dallas has ball with 20+ seconds. Down 2, 3, or 4. Obviously........you hope it's 2 or 3. You go from there. Not a heave at the buzzer.

 

That would be the only action that limp dick has seen all month.

Dallas obviously had the +4.5 or +4.0. They didnt want to push.

If Roy hit that shot before the shot clock expired, maybe you wouldnt be complaining.
