Basically, If Celtics lose or Hawks win then Hawks get home-court advantage. Anything can happen. I'm just going with what I like and I think the Hawks is a good pick overall.

if they both win. Can the celtics still secure home court since they're 2-1 against Atl? I just read something on that.

No, Atlanta has a 1 game lead over Boston. If Atlanta wins, they are ensured home court advantage against the Celtics. I don't know if that will matter, but I am clearly not trying to bet on the Hawks in a playoff series against the Celtics. This is a bet for the Hawks who are playing for home court and Dallas resting key players in a game that means zilch to them.

Your welcome and good luck! I want you to win. We are going against bookies not each other. We want to make money. Here are my picks:
Bulls-A win facing the Cavaliers at home will secure home-court advantage throughout the playoffs with the best overall record and owns the tie-breaker against the Spurs even if the Spurs win against the Warriors.

Grizzlies- A win against the Magic will earn home-court advantage in the first round against the Clippers. Clippers lost against the Knicks and have no games remaining. 

Nuggets- A win here secures the 6th seed and a first-round match-up with the Lakers.

Spurs- A win here doesn't matter, but the Warriors will lose this game knowing that they are guaranteed to finish tied with either New Jersey or Toronto for the leagues 7th worst record, but has to finish in the bottom seven to keep its projected 2012 first-round pick acquired by Utah in a trade.

Basically, the Warriors have nothing to fight for, would rather lose and have a better chance to get a lower seeding in the draft lottery. They might keep the game close to keep it interesting, but I think they are going to not win this game. Also, Spurs bench is better than the Warriors flat out.

After reading this thread and being from Dallas, and a mavs fan. I agree with silent. I think Hawks is the play here. Even with MWP out, the guys they've really struggled with is bynum and gasol. Now add Kobe in the mix and its not pretty. Mavs will hope their experience and D can get them through a playoff run with OKC.

I also just thought about how Lakers probably want revenge, from the Mavs sweeping them last year as well. BOL

You see what happened to Mavs without Kidd and Terry with the Bulls... NO OFFENSE!! Hawks have more to lose or gain here... I am on the Hawks!!

As far as Denver and T-Wolves... Best play is the UNDER and Denver at the Half bc Nuggets coach has already stated he will rest key players tonight looking ahead to playoffs!! western Conference seeds are pretty much set in stone!! 209 bench points? T-Wolves UNINSPIRED!! Low scoring and boring!!

ATLANTA HAWKS -5 PLAY

*Looks like everyone but J.Kidd for Dallas is a go, but expect everyone to be on a minutes crunch. I wouldn't be suprised if Dallas has the lead by a slim margin or a tie game in the 1st half, but look for Atlanta to slowly chip away in the 3rd and 4th and take this game.

CAVS UNDER 84.5 PLAY

* The Cavs without Irving cannot score consistently and today they will face the Bulls defense. They have struggled to hit 85 without Irving in the lineup recently against mediocre defenses.

* Lakers are resting key players. Lineup will consist of PG: R.Sessions, SG: S.Blake, SF: D.Ebanks, PF: J.McRoberts, C: J.Hill. The Lakers are offensively challenged and I do not think they can put up enough points to keep up with the Kings.
