Caught em on their last tour about 3 years ago, it was killer, the setlist was stellar, their back catalog isn't really that big, 6 albums and maybe 60 songs. Anyways it was just killer tune after killer tune for 2 1/2 hrs. Go see the show, those guys are almost pushing 60 now, there may not be another chance.

a buddy of mine flew out to see them in virginia or d.c. a few years ago only to find out the show had been canceled. I'd be wary of traveling to see them. Seems they did that a lot last time they went out and from judging from some of the youtube clips i saw, they sounded terrible. just saying. and im a fan of the diamond dave era. That was the ONLY van halen as far as im concerned

Was at the Orlando show 3 years ago, I was like you, too young to see them in the early 80's. D-Dave era. They were better then i thought, but Eddie was a little rusty and no Anthony on Bass. We are going again for shiz and grins in 2012
