Had mentioned this in another thread, but thought I would put this out for discussion. What's missing from this list? What songs would you move up or down? What songs would you remove entirely?
Ready.........go!

you really got me by van halen at #17 is a joke.. imo the originators of the song (The Kinks) had a much better version than the van halen cover..

I would agree..............& it's interesting that the Kinks version shows up in the 80's on the list.
Don't have a problem with MOST of the list...............however, Tiny Dancer, The Joker, & Roxanne could easily be replaced & shouldn't be anywhere near the top 100.

The order is completely screwy for sure.
Lots of older U2 songs from War and Unforgettable Fire that just fricking jam completely left out.
Could have thrown in some more Zeppelin, and it seems like whoever put that list together completely forgot about this little known band called "Yes". (unbelievable)
A bunch of other lame stuff on that list seemingly that they felt obligated to put on there that just suck.
The list did however, remind me of many songs that I haven't put on my ipod yet. (2700 songs so far, and all put on there a few at a time. I've only slapped on 3 complete CDs into the pod, so this list will be pretty cool to fill in about 80 or so spots)
Thanks for that link.

Ok, here are about 7 "older" U2 tunes that stomp just about anything in the bottom 500 of that list...
Boy
I will Follow
War
Surrender
Spotlight
Unforgettable Fire
The Unforgettable Fire
Wire
Achtung Baby
Until The End Of The World
The Fly
Has that radio station ever heard of INXS?

War
Surrender
REDLIGHT, not Spotlight
Two Hearts Beat As One
Three Sunrises
It would have been real easy for that station to peel away the rotten cheesy shit they thought they had to put it there.
Shit, INXS' "Melting In The Sun" jams and beats the shit out of any of the bottom 500 among about 12 others.
yeah, yeah yeah, wasn't in the top 40 in the fricking Midwest somewhere

It sounds like some guy just listened to some FM classic rock station and listed every song he heard
Aloha Steve and Dano - Radio Birdman?
(I'm) Stranded - The Saints?
Friday on my mind - The Easybeats?
Throw Your Arms Around Me - Hunters and Collectors
Zebra - John Butler Trio
no Smiths? no Cure? No Clash? no Joy Division? no Radiohead?
