The Ravonettes

Anyone else a fan?  I'm driving a fair distance to a couple of shows that are coming up, as they aren't playing anywhere near Pittsburgh.  Can't think of another current band I'd drive 30 minutes to see.

Psyched Up Janis -  That is Sune Wagners former band. I liked his music better back then..

Thanks.  I wasn't even aware of this.  I lood forward to checking it out.

love the raveonettes... i saw them a few years back in L.A. and they brought the dopest vibe... very cool band on record and especially live... gonna see them again May 9th in Orange County... Travel to LA about an hour, to OC, 2.5 hrs... Well worth it...!

Video quality not the best here, this is probably my fave of theirs...

Saw them in DC last Sunday, and am considering quitting my job and just following them around.    Evil Seeds, off of the new album, was one of the best 4-5 songs I've ever seen performed live.

Sharin looks A LOT like my wife (who is a Swede, not a Dane), so it's almost a little disturbing to see her up there.   I asked my wife if she could pick up a used bass, and use it as a prop in the sack.   It would probably just get in the way.

Trying to find an excuse to see them in San Diego and Costa Mesa next week.  Probably won't be able to get that sorted out, though.

Hypnotic.

Got ot see them in San Diego (Solana Beach) and LA (the Troubadour), as the Work Gods threw me a bone and sent me to Phoenix for a mediation at a perfect time.  They don't play for very long (70-75 minutes), but it's certainly well worth checking out.  They just left the country and don't have any current US dates posted, but they pretty much tour all the time.  Most highly recommended.
