What does sounding like The Doors have to do with anything? By saying, it sounds a little too much like The Doors, you're implying you don't like The Doors. Is this true?
Also, how can something sound too much like anything? Let's look at it from a visual point of view. Can something look like a little too much like something else?
Or taste?
Man, that burger tasted too much like that other burger I had last week.
My question to you is, How can something sound TOO MUCH like something else?
