Aren't all albums 'free' these days?

That sounds awesome. If it can be along the lines of Meloncolie and the infinite sadness. One of my favorite albums.

Pumpkins is at their best when they switch between melancholic and heavy guitar riffs.

"Gish" and "Siamese Dream" were right along that same vein as "Melon collie."  Excellent stuff.

Yes i did not like their last two though. Only Corgan is left of the old band, dont know if that will have an impact.

Gish is a close second to Siamese Dream to me.  That album was so raw and emotional.  Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana never made depression feel so good

Pulled out Siamese Dream last night and cranked it up.  You're right, it's a masterpiece.  "Quiet" and "Geek USA" can raise the dead.

Haven't listened to them for many a year, but Gish, Siamese Dream, and Mellon Collie were three badass albums I loved growing up.
