Saw a show with him and his band last night at a casino in my area. I was in line to buy tickets and a guy comes up to me and gives me 2 for free. I felt better not paying to see him.

My review: How the mighty has fallen. From STP to Velvet Revolver to playing to 250 people, I guess next will be the lounge at Binion's. Slurring his words when he spoke to the crowd, voice nowhere near what it used to be. I've seen him in STP & Velvet Revolver (both tours). What a waste of talent because he just can't break the chains of addiction. Show wasn't absolutely horrible, but after you've seen him at his best and now, it's sad.

Saw STP WITH him about 5 years ago &amp; it was an excellent show........played all their best hits. He&#x27;s a weird dude on stage but perfect with STP........&amp; STP is perfect with him. I agree, it&#x27;s a damn shame he can&#x27;t get his shiit together..........he&#x27;s a damn good vocalist.

I heard on the radio today that STP&#x27;s latest singer left the band and Scott Weiland hasn&#x27;t ruled out a reunion in 2016... The band is auditioning singers and Scott Weiland isn&#x27;t one of them - oops... They&#x27;ve seen enough of his act (I think).Reminds me of "A Tale from the Bronx"... "Nothing worse than wasted talent," Robert DeNiro.

Its plenty believable - smoker, drinker, hard drugs. He&#x27;s lucky he lived to 48. I told my friend at the show he wouldn&#x27;t make 53 and he didn&#x27;t make 49. RIP

I just saw a STP concert on Palladia (cable music channel) and I thought Weiland was bizarre at best. Vocals were not very good, but not awful. Not sure of the year of this concert, but I think it was relatively recent... not sure what his last performance was with STP.

I had previously never really bought the "disease" explanation of addiction, but I have since changed my views. It is a shame.

It&#x27;s definitely a "mental disease". I know a lot of people that straightened their life out and I know many that are no longer with us because they couldn&#x27;t. It&#x27;s usually a fatal disease if you can&#x27;t figure it out... The ones that do are usually successful when they get on the right track.

I think I saw the same Palladia show on cable as "sportsfan" did above  .  Weiland has always been a strange cat, and donned the strange boa even on music videos of Interstate Love Song...  He did the same  with the boa on Palladia, though a much more worked out version of Weiland made it look so  weird.    It&#x27;s too bad , the guy had incredible vocals ; my favorite songs by far are Plush &amp; Interstate Love Song.
