Saw Sammy Hagar Thursday night

 Played at an outdoor venue about 10 mins. from me............"40 years of Hagar" tour.............pretty damn good. He looks 20 years younger than his age & plays like it too.

It's great to hear you enjoyed the show and an added bonus when it that close to your area. Never got to see Sammy Hagar solo however I did see him when he was with Montrose back in the day.

 Wish I could've seen Montrose...............saw Sammy for the 1st time around 1977. He opened for Boston at the Seattle Center Coliseum............& promptly stole the show. I hardly even knew who he was back then but I certainly did after that show.

Saw him with Chickenfoot last year............hope to see one of his Bday shows in Cabo but can never get the condo that week.

Never saw Hagar back in his heyday, will have to see if he is gonna be somewhere nearby.  Is Michael Anthony on bass for this tour?  

   No.........got the gal from his Wabo's band.
