MTV Video early 80's???

Question

I'm having one of those moments. I don't remember who the artist was. It was a man. I do not remember if he was solo or with a group. The only other thing I remember about the video is this sexy woman, maybe in lingerie or evening gown, putting a cigarette out in his drink. The setting of the video looked like an apartment in Manhattan, maybe London.Me and a friend were talking about MTV in the gold ole days. It was a pop song. Probably between '82'-84.My situation is similar to Al Bundy trying to explain that song to his friends "hm, hm, hmmm". Remember that episode?

As far as that video goes, it doesn't even matter if I find out. I just want to know because it's bugging me.
