Motor City Music

I'm in search of a local record label or indpendent radio station that tends to specialize in local Detroit music.  I'm pretty flexible as to the type of music, but i am looking form music that not's on the national radar yet.

Can anyone point me in a direction ?

When I think of Detroit music, Bob Seger and Ted Nugent are the first things to come to mind
