Very saddening news. I just saw Heaven and Hell in August at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix from the 1st row. It was awesome. I'm so glad I got to see him again before he became sick. He had 7 chemo treatments. Must be an agonizing way to go. RIP RJD.

I spent alot of my teenage years listening to Rainbow, Black Sabbath and his great solo stuff.

Playing Rainbow right now then some Dio and finally Black Sabbath w/ Ronnie James Dio to close out the day. A great vocalist and true Heavy Metal Icon

Rest in Peace Ronnie James Dio

I still miss the legend. One of the few that I felt a personal connection to and never was close to meeting him. Just seemed like a genuine guy that enjoyed entertaining and had a great reputation as a good man...
