VELVET UNDERGROUND were one of the greatest bands in history. completely ahead of their time and Lou Reed was a BIG reason for that. He also co-wrote a few songs on the stellar KISS album Music From "The Elder" Thanks Lou

The original godfather of punk . The man who was NY .. Never afraid of the critics ,the masses ,the mainstream media..Great performance with Bono at Live aid ,.Seen him for the first time at Post university on Long island 1974 with the alice cooper band backing him up .Seen him perform his classic album New York at the old St Johns church on the lower east side of manhatten in 88 .Lived life and passed doing what he loved .Will be missed Thank u LOU
