Judas Priest......Unleashed in the East

I saw these guys at the Seattle Center Coliseum (now known as the Key Arena) back in "79. For all of you younger metal fans this is a must-have CD from the masters of metal. I believe it was produced in the late 70's..........live from Japan. Excellent recording for those of you with great sound  systems (like me). This is the group that influenced all the bangers we hear now............Halford at his best.

Listen to it all & decide for yourself.........I still love "The Green Manalishi " & "Diamonds & Rust".........victim of changes

 Know your roots my children.....

Still the best metal concert I've seen.......& I've seen many.........bar none.

Unleashed IN The East was recorded on the Hell Bent For Leather tour and was Priest in their prime.  I saw them recently in Nashville and I can honestly say it was great. They did the whole British Steel album and Halford still has the pipes.

That was the show I saw..........in fact Halford came out on stage on a motorcycle............then they opened with "Hell bent for leather". My buddy & I didn't know much about them back them but took the free tix we got offered............& the rest is history. They absolutely kicked ass............raw fuckin power.

Apparently there's a popular bootleg release of the Seattle show. I want it.

Much respect for Judas Priest.  I can't say I listen to their music often, but they are definitely legends of heavy metal.
