Joe Budden - Padded Room

Question

This album is crazy. Joe is my favorite artist and I think this is his best work to date. Shits real deep and none of the songs mean what one would think. The whole album is a metaphor. Every line means something other than what someone would think it meant literally. After my 1st listen I wasn't that impressed but after a few listens and reading/listening to interviews with Joe about the album it came to light that what I thougth some songs were about it was actually somethign completely different. Great concept album and this album shows how Joe is one of the best MCs out, fuck the Lil' Wayne shit that has taken over hip-hop.

going to buy my copy today, I downloaded the leak of it last week. I love the album, it's too bad people will just point to the sales and it won't make past the ears of true Joe Budden fans.

His label fucked him over once again. The side of the CD reads JOE BUDDDEN

Good post jpero.

Budden's been slept on for years - and I don't know why

Lyrically - he's fire, and his shit is deep too, along with the double entendres...

It seems like some rappers do better in the mixtape circuit than with their label's album that they have to put out......Fabolous and Joey fit that profile.
