Music today sucks. I am a huge Radiohead, Tool, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, NIN, Rage fan. Everything that has come out since then sucks, with a few exceptions (i.e Arcade Fire).
Check out this song from a Canadian band called USS. It's the best song I have heard in a long time.

Im not a fan of it but I loved the "Ise tha bye that builds tha boat, Ise the bye that sails her" - they gotta be from the east coast with lines like that. They kinda sound like a less melodic version of Ill Scarlet.
Check out my thread for the rest of my reply, I was gonna post it in here but I feel it deserves a larger audience.
