Guy Clark - RIP

Knew he was in bad health, but still was stunned to hear he passed yesterday. Simply 1 of the best songwriters of our time & a true Texas and national treasure. To know his stuff from his 1st album "Old #1" in the mid 70's was to love it. His music & storytelling was superb & meant alot to many over the years, including myself. 

Was not familiar with him so i checked a few vids, hard not to like him.

Yeah Biscuit...always a little surprising to me how many have never heard of him, but then he was never mainstream or commercial in any way. Master storyteller with the 3/4 minute tune & painted images with words as well as anyone I've ever heard. His stuff kinda stays with you & the more you listen to it, the more you like it. Some of his best albums are below if you ever want to check it out. Got some good 1's on youtube as well.
