Dread Zeppelin

My 51 yr old brother turned me on to 'em.

Downloaded a bunch, and not just Zeppelin covers.

I've always said that I like covers of great songs if done by talent and respect for the original song.

Little Wing as discussed recently being a great example.

Not sure if it counts, but the collaberations of Jimmy Page with the Black Crowes was some really good stuff.

Roger Waters doing The Beatles "Across The Universe" was masterful.....

(Mugg that was for you bud....  )

  UFO

I knew a guy that listened to DZ a long time ago. I heard their version of "Black Dog & LOL...........but it was kind of cool. These were the guys guys that did reggae with an Elvis impersonator as the lead singer, right?

If you want to hear a really cool cover of Clapton's "Born Under A Bad Sign", check out the version by Pat Travers off the "Crash & Burn" album. He also does a nice job on Bob Marley's "Is this Love?" on the same album.

 Love UFO......
