Sorry Clutch, I had to take yesterday off. Pre and post concert party.
Alright, first of all Starland small club in NJ hosting the event. It was outdoors, you had to take shuttle to concert a mile away. Police every where no tailgating. I heard one year parking was close to the concert and some drunk kid rode through the crowd and killed someone. 3 band lineup. Mighty Bosstons and some small band with DKM. I live fairly close I had a designated driver so I just went to see DKM. Great crowd missed first song but second was State of Mass. love that fucking song. Enjoyed it and head to beer area. Buy a round 4 beers 28 bucks. I know it sucks but I expected it and I here for fun. Watch show from beer area great view. It was getting brutal up front. They have some hardcore fans. Show was great, they did a lot from Meanist of Times, I like the new and old. One friend likes old shit and was a little pissed. They are selling out, blah blah blah. Sound was good interesting mix of young and old in the crowd. They tried to stay away from any Boston talk. But a Yankee crowd went nuts when band mentioned some Red Sox hats in crowd. They didn't play any songs relating to Boston sports. Great live band and are really into their fans. They let all chicks for Kiss Me I'm Shit Faced on the stage. For encore they let all fans on stage and you couldn't even see band. Closed with Citizen CIA. Great group, great show. My friend saw them in Boston and I heard it is really nuts. I would see them again in a second.
