Can't make an argument for either. Love both of them. The on stage tension in undeniable. Sucks that they both kill it. The young bucks hate Warren Haynes. The old timers stick to DB. I like both equal. Allmans are one of my favorite bands and seen them a bunch. Seen DB solo, and WH with everyone and the Mule. Who you guys got?

Warren is probably a better technician but i prefer Dickeys style, he had big shoes to fill, really big shoes. Read Gregs book that came out a few years back. You do know that at the last show that they brought out Duane's 3 guitars and Derrick and Warren had a go with them.Damn shame Dickey was not there.

Gotta go with Betts. To me after Duane Allman died ,he put the band on his shoulders .Learned to play slide and became the sole lead guitarist for the band in there early years. He paid his dues and like many battled severe drug abuse. Now that doesnt make you a better guitarist but I will say this. He was and is, a great song writer.
Hope to see his son play a little more down the road.
