Death Metal versus Slow Jazz

Your posts are very interesting.

Hey john -

is that bs in your name, actually part of your name - or just what you like to post in a thread?

What the fuck are you talking about?

I understand what he means.  Most metal guitarists are trained jazz musicians.  The guitar solos are comparable to jazz.  The way Miles and Coltrane went off on a solo inspired many metal guitarists.  The original guitarist of Megadeth was a trained jazz musician.  Chris Poland is his name I think.  Since most jazz guys were heroin addicts unfortunately the metal guys followed.
