By far, the best concert DVD I've seen so far........

.......The Eagles, "Farewell: Live from Melbourne".

OK.........I'm judging this from a viewers standpoint. If you have a HD tv, a progressive scan DVD player (not a Blu-ay or other, just a newer DVD player properly tied to said HDTV), & a decent surround system, this is a stellar concert to watch. The camera work is great. Not only near-HD rez, but the sound (DTS or 5.1) is outstanding.......definitely will have you appreciating your sound system.

I'm not a huge Eagles fan but this is good........a mixture of Eagles & all other single work.............disc 2 alone is worth it.
This is not a this-band-is-better thread...........just a suggestion to those who like to see a good concert

It's good............Eagles, Glen Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh..............all in one...........in great SQ & PQ.

i enjoyed hell freezes over dvd, i will look for this one, thanks!

I'm a huge Joe Walsh guy.......

A little James Gang, but mostly his solo stuff was so amazingly awesome....

As I type this, I listening to 1976's "You Can't argue With A SIck Mind" ....."Meadows"

The album he did called "Barnstorm" is a work of art.................

Island Boat Weirdos.........   great

Have everything he ever has done, but I admit that his creativity and prescence waned around 1983..........

Shit he was so great in the 70s......
