Anybody else missing Pantera?

Or am I the only one?

Not sure if I miss them, they were a little past their prime but what a talent and what a tragidy. I couldn't listen to them for a long time after because it made me think to much about whats so fucked up about this world.

Pantera was one of the best metal bands of all time.

 

Wished it would have worked out, I could use a few more albums as good as Vulgar and Far Beyond Driven.  Most everything else sucks nowadays. 

 

Dimebag was one of the major reasons I picked up a guitar in the first place. 

Pantera is one of my favorite metal bands, but I don't miss them because there was a steady regression in their music, they peaked at Vulgar and I didn't see them ever repeating that.  I thought Great Southern Trendkill was an awful album and they tried a little too hard on Far Beyond being the most heaviest album ever.

I don't miss them. I was a huge fan back in the day but for me a lot of their stuff hasn't endured. If you haven't already check out - 36 Crazy Fists, Diecast, Demonhunter. None of them are the next big thing but with the state of music today I'll take what I can get.

 

Miss em every day, all of their albums were amazing imo. tgst was so good jack, floods???  thankful every day i got to see dime live, he was with damageplan at the time, not quite pantera but it was still amazing, saw phil and rex with down a year ago, great times. didnt get to see pantera but saw all four members live. as much of a consolation as there is.

plus i got CFH tattoed on my calf, not gonna forget em anytime soon.

miss them a lot.  Saw them in 96 at the Detroit State Fairgrounds.  Unbelievable.  Vulgar was simply awesome. Will never see them again no matter what happens.  Just can't do it.

I saw them at a small venue in rural Maryland.  Phil walks on stage and looks around, tells crowd,"I know you don't get a lot of cool bands around here, so just sit back and enjoy the show"  Maybe 1000 people, They rocked the shit out of that place!

Im Broken used to get me hyped back in the day for football games.

Dime was kick ass, I really like Pantera back in the day.  I do miss them.  I listen to Far Beyond Driven sometimes when I'm at the gym.  Just a great bunch of tracks to work out to.

and i just seen priest last year..they are the fucking best ever.

mugg. i seen priest in camden new jersey last year with black sabbath(dio) and motorhead..they are better than ever.. have you hear their newest cd. nostradamus.  halford is the metal god

they havent missed a step.. johnbs. that song by hellyeah "alcohaulin ass" has really grown on me..kick ass tune  vinny and phil will prob get together sooner or later
