I never listened to him before until very recently.  My brother put one of his cds on my ipod for me, and one night when I was stoned I gave it a spin.  The cd was We're Only In It For the Money and I thought it was fucking brilliant.  Since then I picked up 3 different random Zappa cds from all different periods of his career and every one of them has been amazing.

So far got:

Freak-Out
We're Only In It For the Money
Over-Nite Sensation
You Are What You Is

Each one is completely different from the rest and equally awesome.  I've been trying to figure out how the hell I went 29 years without ever giving this guy a chance.

Any Zappa fans out there?  Any suggestions for songs or albums to buy?
