Who is the Greatest Actor of this generation?

Harrison Ford rocks!!!  Didn't realize that noone mentioned him yet.

Without a doubt  Brad Pitt !! Remember folks the question was our generation..  that means someone who have been acting in the 90ties and 2000's..  not since 1970 ..Look at the movies he have been in, got to be the best set of roles for anyone actor in the last 20+ years.

Since his breakthrough in leading roles - >

Interview with a vampire 1994
Legends of the fall 1994

Seven 1995

Twelve Monkeys 1995

Sleepers 1996
The Devils own 1997

Seven years in Tibet 1997
Dark Side of the sun  (released in 97 on DVD but recorded in 87 so it doesnt really count)
Meet Joe Black 1998
Fight Club 1999
Snatch 2000
The Mexican 2001

Spy Game 2001
Oceans Eleven 2001
Troy  2004
Oceans's Twelve 2004
Mr and Mrs Smith 2005
Babel 2006
Ocean's Thirteen 2007

By any standards that is an AWESOME CV as an actor..  wow.

I'd probably go with Ed Harris.

My generation (mid 20s actors) pretty much all suck- with the exception of Natalie Portman and Justin Long

Will Ferrell

Johnny Depp.

Sean Penn

I'd go with Brad Pitt. 12 monkeys, fight club and snatch, imo he played some great characters in those movies.

Jack Nicholson....wide variety of roles, and plays them equally well !
