Because they suck. Very overrated. Mize has pitched like new_poop since the All-Star game. They can't hit good pitching or beat teams over .500.

I've been a Tiger fan since 1960 (when I was 8 years old), and the only reason they have the record they have is because they're 16 games over .500 vs teams under .500. They don't beat good teams, and lately even bad teams. Swept in Pittsburgh and swept at Oakland (Sacramento). They strike out too much, and their 2nd best power hitter Torkleson, can't hit a home run with men on base. 28 dingers and 23 are solo shots.
