And that's what I think of when I see Soriano pull a ball to left. As you can see...everyone has different opinions here.
I just love his follow through when he hits a ball to left. Just so smooth. Sometimes...too smooth though.
You and SteveBailey. I don't know why. He's nothing now. He's overpaid and doesn't come through when you need it most of the time. His best years were in NY and that's where he left them.
Depends what you're looking for. A fundamentally good swing or just one you think looks nice.

Looks nice works for me. Fundamental doesn't work for Soriano. And he's the same with Jones. It's very nice looking WHEN he makes contact.
I know I know...but like I'm saying. When he makes contact with that swing and pulls the ball to left...it just looks SO, SO Good.
was thinking the same thing short compact and the balls leave at a hundred miles and hour. without a doubt i think its these two presently. But how can you forget griffey of the old. Had he not been so injury prone we could be talking about one of the greatest players to ever step on the diamond.
