Hockey under 5.5 a while back. It was 0-0 with 5 minutes to go. The teams scored 6 goals in the last minutes including a goal with 1 second left to make it 3-3.
Last year in CFB, Northwestern against Mich St was bruuuutal. I have stories for daaaaaaaaaaaaaaays especially college basketball ones. I want to write a book
I was actually on VCU and benefited from that prayer, but I was also on that SF Under in the 7 run 2 out fiasco.

A few years ago i had a 10 team parlay going in MLB and it came down to Milwaukee needing to beat Cincinnati. They were leading 5-3 with 2 two outs in the bottom of the 9th and Encarnacion hits a 3 run homer to lose 6-5. Would have made 5 figures from that.

Are you talking about the game Rick Carlisle made Durant turn the ball over and Stevenson made the 3 at the buzzer? Cause I remember that game like it just happened! I also had the under!

I had the Steelers +3 1/2 in a 1997 Monday night football game at Jacksonville. They were down 23-21 and were attempting a game winning FG on the last play. I was watching the game at a friend's place and had some bad gambling luck up to this point. He stated that I made a good bet and he was happy for me, but I told him that I just hope he gets the FG attempt off cleanly (not blocked), and I did not care if he made it or not since the game would be over.
Jacksonville blocked the punt and Chris Hudson returned it the other way for a TD. During the return, Bill Cowher cocked his fist back like he was going to throw a punch at Hudson when he was running down the Steelers sideline for the final margin of victory. Too bad Cowher did not pull a Woody Hayes and save my bet from losing.

Mine was year and a half ago...twins vs oakland, at the collisium. Twins up 11-1 or something, and a's came back and won by 12-11
Depressing as hell, lol
i was on that too..rememebr that one like it was yesterday...blackburn was on the hill for the twins..and matt holliday hit a 2 out grand slam to take lead

I remember watching the end and walking away from the TV cause they didn't even show Stevenson shooting the ball and I didn't realize he hit the 3 until I saw the final score. Till this day my wife truly believes that the game was fixed

Easy one for me. A few years back in the NBA, I remember like it was yesterday.
Had a huge play on the Nuggets in Detroit +220 (roughly)
That is the game where Rasheed Wallace stole the inbounds pass and hit a half court buzzer beater. He then went on to hit 2 threes in overtime to seal the win.
Haha I remember that one! I had under and I think it was a push if Nuggets score...worst part is, Pistons is my team and I love Sheed, and was up in the air when he hit it going: OH YEAH FUCK NOO
2 other memorable beats from 2-3 years ago, Mets vs somebody and line was either 7.5 or 8.5, Mets scored 7 in first and I needed a run for it to go over. I think it was 7-1 in first. And the same after 9th.
Then I had money on LAA and Weaver who had no-hit Dodgers but still lost. Error to first, stolen 2nd, to 3rd on throwing error, sac fly, 1-0 Dodgers win motherf...!

Were talking several yrs back...Vikings vs Cards in Arizona...If Minny wins they go to the playoffs. Cards blow balls like always, especially yrs back. Vikes are winning and covering, but there not up by more than a td...I have my biggest wager to date on this game. $500 bucks (and I was chasing, yuck). Plummer throws a ball in the corner as time is runnin out, some guy catches it, they go to instant replay and it's a td. It sucked because it was a meaningless win, a terrible defeat for Minny, and the f'n gm wasn't on tv. It seemed like it took forever for them to tell us if it was a td or not. It was terrible sitting there waiting for the update knowing more than likely you just got your balls busted.....
I also had some good coin on Uconn a couple yrs back against Duke in the final 4. The spread was 2.5, Uconn up 4 w/ hardly any time left. Apparently there was just enough time for Chris Duhon to throw the ball 70 feet through the hoop and lose by 1 tho..that was a kick in the dick. I was at a party and 3 guys had Duke and I was on Uconn...the music was turned down as the final minutes were playing down. The whole place gasped when it went through because one of the guys put his hand out to shake mine before Duhons miracle. I looked at him and said "it aint over yet".....and I was right. The looks on peoples faces said it all. I had to hold my head up the rst of the night. Till of course I drank myself in a self induced coma...then I was ok

browns playing new eng defence interceps on 14 yd line all he has to is go in for touchdown 14 fnn yards nobody within 20 yds of him runs out of bounds at 4 yd line even the annoncers were wondering why he didnt go in for the score!

I had a very large sum of money on 2h Giants vs. Dallas on Monday Night Football. Huge Cowboy fan, it was the game Romo got hurt before halftime, I knew fuckn Kitna was washed up and figured there was no way in hell they cover the 2h line with that clown at QB with no reps during the week, team deflated, etc. Score is 24-20 Giants at the half, I got the Giants at -5.5 2h so had to win the game by 10. Giants get 2 quick td's in the 3rd quarter, Kitna is looking awful and the score is eventually 38-20 with 6 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter. Of all fuckn people, Kitna drives the Cowboys down and gets a TD with 3:17 left on the clock. They score the 2 pt conversion so its 38-28 with 3:17 left. Cowboys attempt an onside kick, have no timeouts left, Giants recover the onside and drive the ball to about the Cowboys 15 yard line. They have 4th and 1 with 1:55 left to go in the game. Instead of just going for the yard and closing out the game, they decide to kick a FG and its 41-28 with 1:55 and no timeouts for the Cowboys. Of course the Cowboys get the ball back and somehow fuckn Kitna drives the ball to the Giants 15 yard line. At this point its 4th and 1, 40 seconds left in the game, and of course Kitna throws the easiest slant to Dez Bryant for a TD. Final 41-35. It was a surreal moment. Of course I have many other bad beats, but this is the freshest one that comes to mind considering the amount of cash I had on it.

I'm a cardinals fan and remember that game well. It was actually Josh McCown that threw the TD. Denny Green annointed him the starting QB the following year because of it.

O I can rememeber a game between the Texas rangers and I think it was Detroit or somthing like that and took Tigers ml and they scored like 10 runs in one inning and thought it was won but what happens is the rangers scored like 10 runs the next and inning and went on to win. That was really a bad beat. Also the dodgers game where they were down 10-6 to San diego and came back and won with 2 outs in the bottom 9th Nomar Garciaparra hit a game winning walkoff. So theres been quite a few I was on the wrong end of.

yup mccown to poole... i remember this so well... was 17-6 minnesota, arizona scores a td but misses the 2 pt conversion to make it 17-12 with about a min to go... they recover the onside kick... then they get the ball to the 11 yd line but only 1 timeout left.... 1st down they run with emmitt smith for a 1 yd gain.. with the clock running... 2nd down , a sack forcing them to use their final time out... then on 3rd down following the time out, mccown gets sacked yet again... now its 4th and 17 at the 18 yd line, but the clock is about to run out... so mccown quickly sets the line, snaps the ball and throws to the corner for poole who makes an unbelievable catch at the horn.... 18-17 final

Thanks for reminding me play by play lol.....to make things worse, I was in my living sitting Indian style on the floor in front of the tv....I was living w/ my girlfriend at the time, and she comes home from wherever she wa at. She slides open the sliding door, takes a look at me and says "how much did you lose"...she cought me off gaurd. I had to tell her cause I had no excuse made up yet. She gave me the business the rest of the week. It wasn't pretty in my world that week. Thanks for reminding me

How about when D Wade went sprinting down the court to get that last second slam dunk that was TOTALLY unnecessary to screw my under.
i was gonna say this one was still fresh... instead of running out the clock, he gets past all defenders and goes and dunks, i had under but i think it beat the spread also... was the fourth leg of a parlay that cost me like 6k

one of my first bad beats was a game with the redskins, they are down by 2 tds+ game outta reach and im lovin my under.art monk needed 1 reception to break the record, under 30 seconds left in game 2nd and 3rd down he drops quick 2 yard passes they go for it on 4th down he fakes the quick in turns the corner catches a wide open 30 yard pass.

I don't know where to start, mooses that you wouldn't believe if you saw them in a movie... events that are less likely to happen than winning the lottery.
It's usually the last leg of a long parlay that hurts the most.
I had the Under (7.5) in a STL game last year when the score was tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 9th inning. The winning run scores and they call it back for some BS reason and we are going to OT. Of course the road team hangs 2 in the 11th and cost me the bet.
I can think of countless in football where I needed something like 14 points in the second half and ended up with 12 or 13 because the refs shaved something like 42 points off the board and which included 1st and Goal from inside the 5 at least four times and resulted in 3 points or less.
In hockey I can think of a time where I had the Under 5.5 and it was 1-0 after 2. It's 2-0 with just over a minute to go...
The losing team ties it up on back to back goals. The other team scores right back with 11 seconds left to make it 3-2 and fills in the empty netter.
I can also remember a time when it was 1-1 late in the 3rd. One team takes the lead with a little over a minute to go and instantly hits an empty netter on the next face off. 3-1 with under a minute to go. The losing team makes it 3-2 with under 30 seconds left and of course the team in the lead hits it's second empty netter of the game with under 3 seconds left.
How many times I had the Under and the game it the NUTS, something like 1-0 after 7 innings and I end up losing... or Under 8.5, going to extra innings tied at 2 and losing.
Usually the moment I lose these Unders, it is the last hit/baserunner/walk of the game. The rest of the outs come and go faster than you can blink.
Just a few days ago SF/FLO, 3-2 in the 9th, I have the Under 7.5... walk, hit-by-pitch, walk,... bases loaded and 2 outs. The scumbag pitcher had yet to make a pitch inside the strike zone. The outs were miraculous as the batters swung at everything.
Now the count is 0-2 with 2 outs and this POS pitcher throws one in the dead center of the strike zone. Fly ball to center field, dropped by the fielder to clear the bases.
