What about the fact that the Reds aren't hitting worth a shit? The whole lineup right now is a fucking joke. If Cuerto doesn't go at least 7 the chances of the Reds winning starts to drop drastically each inning he goes out before 7.
Also the Reds have a great history against Dempster? I hope you are not counting 05 since that was a completely different lineup from what they have on the field now. In 06 he had 4 saves and 1 blown save against them. In 07 he came in against them 7 games and had 1 bad inning giving up 4 runs.
- R. Dempster relieved W. Ohman
- J. Ellison singled to center
- P. Lopez singled to right, J. Ellison to second
- H. Bailey grounded into fielder's choice, J. Ellison out
at third, P. Lopez to second
- J. Keppinger flied out to right
- R. Hanigan singled to left, P. Lopez
scored, H. Bailey to second
- J. Votto homered to deep right center, R.
Hanigan and H. Bailey scored
- E. Encarnacion flied out to left
That was the inning. I don't think he has to worry about 3 of those guys anymore and the guys hitting in their place are in a slump. Also in the past game that he won he gave up a lot of early walks. If he can avoid this things will be looking pretty. Also when that game was in Chicago there was a strong wind going out to center if I remember correctly and the over 11 was a bet that had people shaking their head at but sure enough paid off nicely. Also don't think Griffey Jr. is gonna hit a homer on him again.

FIRST OF ALL, ONE GAME DOES NOT MEAN MUCH SO I AM NOT SAYING THIS BECAUSE THE REDS WON TODAY.
BUT THE REDS LINEUP HAS HIT DEMPSTER WELL. HAD YOU GONE UP AND DOWN THE LINEUP STATS YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT.
Sorry to strongly disagree, but did you have time to check the boxscore of the game. This was one of the biggest moose jobs for cubs backers. Out of the five runs just two of them where earned, the others you can credit them to that box fontenot. Aside to the many stupid hitting by derrick lee and big time slugger De Rosa....
Rigged game. Period!

AS I SAID IN MY LAST POST , ONE GAME DOES NOT MEAN MUCH.
PERHAPS YOU MISSED THAT PART.
I GUESS I WILL JUST KEEP CASHING TICKETS WHILE CONTINUING TO LEARN WHILE OTHERS JUST WADE AROUND IN THEIR BAD BEATS.
MIGHT WANT TO GO EXAMINE WHAT I SAID AGAIN. GO UP AND DOWN THE REDS LINEUP AND YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN GREAT SUCCESS AGAINST DUMPSTER . IT IS NOT AN OPINION. IT IS A FACT.
