Miami Marlins -1.5 +146
Cards are throwing out with AAA line up with the early start after a night game. No Burleson, Winn, or Walker. They only have three reliable arms in the bullpen too, and two of them pitched last night. The Marlins are only holding Stowers out it appears. Junk is the better of the two starters in my opinion. He throws lots of strikes, and pitches to contact, with the Birds having the B squad in today, is just fine with me.
Orioles/Royals Under 9.5 -115
This high of a number, almost feels trappy with how bad the Royals offense has been, and how mediocre the Os have been. But I have to go with what I know, and that is Michael Wacha is pitching how he was supposed to pitch his whole career. When he came up with the Cardinals, he was supposed to be the next Carpenter/Wainwright, and we saw glimpses of it here and there, but injuries kinda kept him down. But since he's been in KC he's be REALLY good. He has 4 starts, 27 IP and 3 ER surrendered. That's a 1.00 ERA for those keeping score at home. The Royals can't hit. Witt has yet to homer. Same with Lane Thomas, who has 1 RBI. It's ugly in that dugout right now for the offense. Bassit has been awful, but I think even this Royal offense can make him look above average.
Los Angeles Angels -1.5 +136
Back to this well I go. Jose Soriano is the best pitcher in baseball through 1 month. He is 5-0, with 32.2 IP and has given up a single earned run. Its' been pretty remarkable actually. It hasn't been against the Royals and Rockies either. He's shut down, Houston, Atlanta, the Cubs, Padres and Reds. Some heavy bats in those line ups. Much more than he'll see today for sure. Angles bat can rake, and with a slow night last night, logic tells me they come back to the mean today and have an above average day at the dish.

Seattle is really struggling offensively. Last night, another dud, despite Raleigh going yard. They can't find a timely hit. That will eventually turn itself around. It almost has to. But for now, as long as I can get odds like this, I'll fade them. Gilbert has been ok. Not great, not bad. He hasn't gotten a ton of run support, so probably pretty frustrated. These divisional games seem to mean a lot for being April, at least to the As guys. "If we want to beat anybody, we want to beat the Mariners," A's outfielder Lawrence Butler said. "So it felt really good beating them. ... I wish (the stadium) was more packed out so more fans could go home sad." Sounds pretty motivated to get a sweep to me.
