Gotta figure the stats. t_9 is a good capper that probably can hit about 70% of his plays. It's like the stock market. Never follow after a 100% day b/c law of averages says things have to balance. On that logic, I am going to wait for the day that he is 0-7 or something like that and jump on his next day

That's about as nonsensical as they come.
If he did hit 70% of his plays, each ensuing play would have a 70% chance of hitting. If you flip a coin heads three times in a row, is the next flip any more likely to be a tail? No, it's not.
The market analogy might be more relevant as investor emotions are at play, but in gambling it doesn't work that way.
