Nawlins - I'm already counting out the Reds for psychological purposes. If I can bag the Mets and Cards, who are both up, that will be fine with me.

Weaver is really starting to come into his own and he has always been a Royals killer. Not sure what is wrong with Gil Meche, but he has not pitched like the pitcher of recent years. Even if he puts in a solid performance, I see Weaver outdueling him. I also love the way the Angels offense has started to come together. This lineup is dangerous 1-9 whereas the Royals have dead spots like Gathright and Pena. And Guillen, in the middle of the order, is hitting like he never played baseball before steroids.

There's not a huge edge here but the A's aren't getting enough respect. I see Hernandez vs. Blanton as a wash. The A's have been doing whatever it takes to win and they are at home, which helps too. I definitely prefer the A's pen to the Mariners', which has been as bad as any. All things considered, Oakland is the play.

If you find 6 games your capping really gives a blessing for, do you force yourself to play less because you limit yourself at a certain number?

Go through my previous threads and see how many times I reiterate that I will never force bets just to get action. I play plays when I see an edge, not because I just feel like betting.

As for over/unders, what works for you might not work for me. If I could be profitable betting over/unders I would. Did you even look at my moneyline record vs. overunders? So you are willingly telling me to play my successful plays less and my less successful plays more often? Wow.

Definitely not how I wanted to end the night. The day was looking nice after hitting 3 of the first 4 but I fell short in both late games. I'll give Seattle all the credit but I am bitter about the Angels who stranded runners on base all night long and Weaver, whose dumb error at first cost him the crucial go ahead run. But such are the ups and downs of a long season. And that's why it's great that tomorrow is a new day to try and get back on track. Please just be patient and you will be rewarded.

I wanted to wait to see to collect some data on run lines but I think I will prob. use the run line any time the line is -150 or better and I feel good about the play. I would have broken even using run lines today and believe they are generally a good idea if used well.

hi lana .. good job last night.. I tailed you in some picks like St. Louis, Arizona, Angels and Mets.. you did a pretty good job.. i played the Cinci pick but for the second half.. cuz if I cant trust barry zito against Webb .. I neither can trust Fogg against Big Z.. I fade the cubs bullpen what I thought was a better Idea but the score finished 2-2
