There was nothing "horrific beat" about this game. A horrific beat is like when you're up 3 in the 9th and lose, not a game when you're losing basically the entire game. Horrific play possibly, horrific beat not even close.

I'm not trying to pile on, big games lose no big deal but don't act like you got unlucky and took some awful beat. The game was just a loser plain and simpl, it happens.

I know the Giants very well...

There were a few things that were just terrible in this game

Byumgarner gave up a leadog single to volstad in the 3rd   

Romo, 2 out noone on in 7th and Cubs put up a 2 spot  

Giants left a bunch of guys on 3rd in the last few innings


Thats why it was a horrific beat, they should have won the game in all honesty

A little off topic but I'm trying something this year for mlb that you might like as well.

I am going to zero in on two or three teams this season and follow them like no other and see if I can do better since I should have a good "feel" of these teams since I'm following so closely as opposed to kinda trying to follow the whole league as a whole. I mention this because if you follow SF so closely you should try something of this sort or even keep track of your record on SF bets only to see if you're doing well playing on/against your team. Im gonna start a thread before opening day detailing my plans.
