He's doing ok but didnt do the biopsy still

No you dont need it, you can use the over the counter stuff.  The prescription stuff is just stronger and since his numbers are high, the prescription form would probably be better. Dogs and cats should be taking this stuff before they get liver problems, right out of the gate.

I would be totally shocked if at some point your vet doesnt recommend this.  Also did Noah get the full blood work done that tests everything and cost like 500-600 bucks.  Some of those results can actually help diagnose what could be happening in the body to see what else might be causing the liver problem. Like when i go to the doctor, i dont let my doctor just run a few blood tests. I get the whole entire package of tests, that way i can see how things change as i age.peace_5
