Well from what I followed.. Which I followed daily..and still do at your new home, it was the Idoiots on here harassing you daily.... I remember everything from math errors to people bitching about the lines you posted.. If I'm wrong let me know...

Dutchboy..while you make valid points.. It was not what I was saying about Gamehunter.  And game.. Your not the only one.. Your not the only good one that the dopes here have ran away. I have been following this site daily since 06.... I have seen a many good cappers ran off by countless harassment. And most of it either added to or supported by the mods that run this place. Nice night last night.. 5-2. I tailed them all. You and a few others on here helped me to a 40k $ plus baseball season during your historic run of 07' thank you for that.. But this place isn't the same. Hell badlands is one of the most honest humble posters alive and even he takes garbage from people here.. It is what it is I guess.

I often remind myself that the gaming world is filled with seedy and shady characters, many of whom unfortunately have a compulsive disorder. As such, you can win 7 days in a row but when you lose on the 8th day, there will be people bitching you out because they don't understand money management and lose their lunch money. It's kind of sad. People seem to forget that people on message boards who post, are doing it for free because they enjoy the helping people and learning from other, enjoy the camaraderie (let's face it, our wives or family members and some close friends won't understand how it feels to be moosed in the 9th inning of a game or screwed by a last second foul) and just want to have fun.

However, when you are constantly harassed by stalkers and haters and a few of the moderators do nothing to protect the posters who are trying to contribute the most, it becomes frustrating. One mod in particular put me in the Penalty Box for no valid reason at all for six months, during a time when I was getting at least 10,000 views a day as he was on a power trip and had a personal vendetta rather than doing what was best for Covers and the website. Then, when haters and bashers would come into my thread, rather than punishing several of them, he'd just move my thread to the PBox where most people couldn't find it. I was actually tipped off once to a private area where a few of the trouble makers congregated and saw that moderator participating in it and bashing a few of the posters.

It just really takes the fun out of it as at times, posting on a regular basis is difficult and becomes burdensome. Also, people would go nuts when you made a small accounting error like you were cheating them out of their own money. They don't seem to understand, when you play at 3-5 sportsbooks, are playing possibly 3-4 different sports at a time and then sprinkle in some small insignificant plays with your books that you don't post online, you end up with about 5 sets of accounting records and the least significant set of records is the the message board account because that doesn't affect the actual money you transact.

The good thing about the chirping place, is you can block anyone you want from posting and hating on you. That might be something Covers should look into as it removes a lot of the nonsense. Many people come here for information and to read good threads and when they get cluttered by hate and racism sometimes, it really drags the site down.

There are some great people here and it's a great informational site and I do pop in on occasion and enjoy it to an extent, but dealing with a lot of the juvenile and petty issues combined with a moderator who acts like a tough guy like a NYC bouncer at a club, it just takes the fun out of it.

It's always good seeing many of the guys around from several years ago. There were great memories from the past like the wars with Vanzack (who I now consider an internet friend), Helmut, who lived in the basement at his Mom's (lol), ironically he is a tout now (I do wish him well and no ill will) Football_Expert and many others, including guys I still communicate with regularly by email or elsewhere.

Good seeing you and stay in touch and I am sure I will see you guys around here.

Come on.... you had some self inflicted wounds too Game.  The whole charity thing and claiming to be a hotshot attorney didn't do yourself any favors.

And here is why I don't post here regularly....the fact that I went on a huge run in 2007 Sparty and many people wanted to do something nice in return, I mentioned if they wanted to do something nice, to donate to the nationally recognized charity I mentioned (that I have absolutely no affiliation with) that supports an illness that affects many Americans including a family member of mine was something that I perceived as a nice thought with no self purpose other than charitable for others. However, eople such as yourself turn it into a negative...and I never used the word "hot shot" to describe myself but believe it or not, there are several posters here and elsewhere who are attorneys. I don't want to get into a debate here with you but it's doubters like yourself and haters, who drive the people who want to contribute here, away.

You were using the charity issue to gain attention for yourself. Myself and others all saw it and called you out on it.

Same thing with the attorney bit.... you felt the need to say you were a hotshot attorney from a top tier firm. Just another way to make yourself look good...even though it has zero to do with sports gambling. Whether its true or not is irrelevant. Is no need for it here.

Go back and re-read what you posted above .... its nothing more than self-important nonsense that has littered your posts since you started here. It was always about the views to you game... you are pretty transparent with that.

Again, your comments remind me why I, along with many others, do not post here often anymore....I 100% emphatically disagree with your absurd statement that telling people, who wanted to send me money for making them so much that season, that it would be better to do something nice for that charity, was gaining me attention. If you think about it, the statement is stupid. The people were already reading my thread. By responding that way, it didn't gain more viewers or attention, as those people were already reading my thread. I could have PMed those people and told them to send me money. Rather, I said forget me and do something nice for a good cause. Isn't that terrible?

And you dismiss the obvious. Not saying it was my goal, but what is wrong with a a regular everyday poster, who provides information on an every day basis and who drives people to the site, enjoying the popularity and attention he gets from people enjoying his threads. Why do people write books? They enjoy the attention, helping people and making money. So it's even more benign here as people like me aren't getting paid or asking for anything in return. What is wrong with popular posters on this site enjoying the attention. Regular contributors like myself here back in the day did not earn a penny or ask for anything  for their efforts so what is so terrible that the one fun benefit we get is that people appreciate our contribution and gave us attention. Is it a crime? Does it offend you? You are the same person who accused me and others of drawing attention to ourselves so we could use Covers for our own pecuniary gains of going tout, yet here I am along with several of the other guys, 6 years later still doing it for free. So I guess you were wrong.

Let's face it. The #1 reason post on message boards is for attention so don't hate on people if that is the only benefit they derive from sharing information in a community who appreciates them!

You are an attention-female ... no doubting that. Everyone saw that from the beginning. Nobody had a problem with charitable donations.... we just saw right through you to what you were really trying accomplish...attention.

And you don't care about people .... if you cared about helping people you would post your plays and cut-out the drama. Its all about you however...hence you left for places that will stroke your ego.

Sparty, I sure as hell rather be an attention seeking female who helps people, than a jealous crybaby like yourself...that's for sure!

People like you feel you are the gestapo around here and because you don't get enough attention, you feel the need to call others out.

Here's an idea you still haven't learned in the 8 years you have been here. If you don't like someone here, ignore them and don't read their posts and threads. But to the contrary, people like you are the first ones to read and comment on anything posted by someone like me and you end up giving us more attention than anyone else.

If I were you (which I a sure am glad I am not), I wouldn't waste a second with someone I don't like and I wouldn't even read their posts and threads...kind of like I do to you. I wouldn't know you exist on Covers if you didn't come in hating on me because I probably wouldn't even know you exist...so the sad irony is, you get more attention for yourself and for me by hating on me that you do for posting anything substantive. Let me clarify my point so even you can understand it Sparty. If I didn't like someone here, I would not read his to you. That is what I was referring to. However, if someone like you is going to stalk me and come into my threads or comment on what I write elsewhere (which you have done hundreds of times), then of course I will typically take the time to respond. Did you ever ask yourself why you read everything I post and comment about me so often? Is it a man crush or jealousy, because it has to be one or the other?

Sadly, you have been here 8 years. When you post your own thread, very few people read it and you average about 5 posts in your thread. You might as well sit in a padded room and talk to yourself because after 8 years, one would think you'd have a lot more respect here but very few care what you have to say. So since you can't be heard in your own threads, you decide to be the gestapo for some of the popular posters who have been here throughout the years and spread hatred and jealousy and by doing so, more people read what you write in those threads than do in your own threads.

I read this thread initially because I respect Train. I saw someone mention me, laughed and asked a question. Then Sparty with his gestapo radar, like always, chimed in with negativity.

So the moral of the story is Sparty, if you don't like me, ignore my posts and comments because they are NEVER directed at you. I will never chime into your threads first, because I don't read them and secondly, I would never attack you or anything you post unless you were talking about me (which you often like to do). But ironically, you read EVERYTHING I post and feel the need to comment on ME incessantly. Who made you the gestapo?

Everyone posts here for attention. If you people didn't want attention and for people to read what they write, they wouldn't post in the first place. So stop hating on me because people seem to respect my opinion and what I have to say, ignore me and go on your merry way. Why do you feel the need to comment the moment I post something when there is no mention of you? I assure you I have never attacked you once in 7 years other than to respond to your attacks on me!
