I think I saw yesterday was the highest scoring day in MLB since 1936. 8 of 10 games went over.
I have a 1pm tee time so won't get to see line up cards, but Tuesdays aren't usually an off day for most regulars, unless its a pitching match up problem, so I'll ride with what I assume they will do.
San Francisco Giants -106
Robbie Ray may be turning back the clock this year. He's struck out 18 batters in three starts, while only allowing 4 runs. The Reds aren't finding much success vs south paws this year either. I'm a big fan of fading Brady Singer as well. He has an xBA of .372. His hard hit rate is 64%, with an average exit velocity of 97 mph. He is getting hammered. The wind will be blowing in steady from right, maybe keeping some balls in the yard, but Singer isn't trustworthy by any means.
Nationals/Pirates Over 9.5 -102
I don't know that I can not bet a Nationals over. They have the second most productive offense, and the second worst pitching staff as a whole in all of baseball. Mikolas doesn't have any swing and miss stuff, and the Pirates showed yesterday what they are capable of doing vs mediocrity. And while Mitch Keller is a good pitcher, he's no Paul Skenes. These two teams are a combined 22-10 to the over so far this year as well.
Royals/Tigers Under 7.5 -115
The Royals just can't figure out how to get guys across the plate. They have the third least runs scored so far this year, ahead of the White Sox and Giants, tied with the Reds. They struggle even further when there is a lefty on the mound, and while Framber got his ass kicked in his last start, I don''t see that happening to him twice in a row. Ragans misses a lot of bats, and the Tigers as a team have only 51 ABs so far this year vs LHP, so could be an adjustment period. Wind is also blowing in from right all night long.
Minnesota Twins +114
I don't know how the Twins are doing it, but the offense continues to roll. Second most runs scored in the AL behind Houston, tied for second most HR in all of baseball, and have a top 10 on-base percentage. All with guys whose names I would have confused with local deli clerks. Boston on the other hand continues to be a mystery. Their ace got shelled last night by this line up. Now Sonny goes out there, and he's been good, but Abel has been equally as good for the Twinks, and I'm gonna back the more productive offense in what I think is a pitching toss up.
Mariners/Padres Under 7 +100
If you just look at the numbers, both offenses are starting to heat up. But if you include who they played and saw on the mound, tells a little bit different story. Houston doesn't have a capable arm, so Seattle got to pad some numbers over the last four games. And SD just got done with a Rockies team that will try and not be the worst team in the league. Woo has been incredibly good since last year, and King has very good stuff too. It's a big ball yard in SD, and the wind in blowing in from left.
Rangers/Athletics Over 8.5 -122
Playing the ball park again.
